  • POEM OF THE DAY

    You Know You Live

If you look at the numbers,
    but still do not know,
what it is in this world,
    that proves you live.
    Where it can happen,
    when the day draws near,
hard to see where you stand,
hard to know where you are.
    When the challenge takes you,
when it tries to break you,
can you win when you don't face it,
will you lose if you flee from it?
    To live in complications,
is to know what life really is.
    To know life you must get hurt;
    you must trip and fall,
    just walk or crawl.
    You'll gash your flesh,
    and bleed your best,
    through trial and error,
    blessings and curses.
    You must cry 'till dry,
    and weep in sleep.
    Overflow with your emotion,
that's how you know you live.
